What are the penalties for a repeat DUI in Orlando, FL?

In the event that this is your second arrest for DUI, you are at risk of being fined up to $2,000, sent to jail for nine months and being subjected to a driver's license revocation lasting for up to a year. If the prior offense occurred less than five years ago, the revocation will be extended to a minimum of five years, while the term of imprisonment must include at least ten days, forty-eight hours of which must be served consecutively.

A third DUI conviction which occurs more than ten years later than the second offense is punishable by a fine between $2,000 and $5,000, up to one year in jail and a license suspension lasting between 180 days and a year. If the second conviction was less than five years ago, the revocation is extended to five years. In cases where all three offenses occur within a period of ten years you can be charged with felony DUI, for which thirty days in jail are mandatory, and you can be subjected to a ten-year driver's license revocation. The minimum fine for a fourth DUI offense is $2,000, in addition to a prison sentence of up to five years and a permanent revocation of your driving privileges.
